This is a plain-English license. Please read it before you install the fonts.

1. WHAT YOU GET

You are buying a license to USE the font. You are not buying the font itself. FitzTopPicks keeps the copyright in the font software (the .otf, .ttf, .woff and .woff2 files).

2. DESKTOP USE

You may install the font on up to 3 computers that you own or use. If you need more computers (for example, a team), buy one license per 3 computers or ask us for a multi-seat license.

3. COMMERCIAL USE IS INCLUDED

You may use the font to make designs and products, including ones you sell:

  • printables, worksheets, planners, cards, invitations, signs, labels, stickers, packaging;
  • social media posts, thumbnails, videos, presentations, ads;
  • print-on-demand and handmade goods (shirts, mugs, tote bags, vinyl and cut files you make into a finished product, and similar).

The limit is 5,000 sold copies or items per year in total across all your products. If you need more, buy the Extended License. Using the font in a logo is fine, but you cannot stop other people from using the font.

4. WHAT YOU MAY NOT DO

  • Give away, sell, share, lend, upload or otherwise distribute the font files, alone or bundled with anything else (this includes free font sites, shared drives, and design kits).
  • Change the font files, convert them into another font format for others, or make and share a new font based on them.
  • Put the font inside an editable template, kit or file that lets your buyers install, extract or edit with the font (for example an editable Canva/Corjl/PSD/AI template that embeds the font). Flatten the text to an image or outlines instead, or ask your buyers to buy their own license.
  • Use the font, or images of it, to train artificial-intelligence or machine-learning models.
  • Register the font's letter shapes, or the font name, as your own trademark.

5. WEBSITES (WEB FONT EMBEDDING)

Embedding the font in a website with @font-face is NOT included. Buy the Webfont License (one domain, up to 100,000 page views a month). Images of text made with the font may be used on any website.

6. APPS, GAMES, SOFTWARE AND E-BOOKS

Embedding the font inside an app, game, program or e-book is NOT included. Buy the App/E-book License.

7. CLIENT WORK

You may use the font to make finished artwork for a client. If your client wants to edit the artwork with the font, the client needs their own license.

8. REFUNDS AND FIXES

Digital files cannot be returned, so sales are final. If a font file is broken or does not install, tell us and we will fix or replace it.

9. NO WARRANTY

The fonts are provided "as is", without any warranty. FitzTopPicks is not liable for any damages that come from using the fonts, to the extent the law allows.

10. ENDING THIS LICENSE

This license ends automatically if you break any of these terms. If it ends, stop using the font and delete every copy.

11. LAW

This license is governed by the laws of the United States and the State of New York.
